The Products

There are two products which we have designed and applied for Patent’s on, both of which are a recycling technology, namely The Vertical Store ( Pat. No. GB2588751 )  and the  Eaves Store  ( Pat. No. GB2590965 ) these two products are designed and constructed to store rain water in vessels within and attached to built structures to assist with the water supplies to premises where the supply of rain water will assist and reduce the need for utilities supplied water to flush toilets, and save on the use of water that has been treated to drinking quality.  It will alleviate the run off of water to water courses and to some extent rivers if installed in large numbers. The use of pumps are to be solar driven making them 100% ECO., Low Carbon in operation. After the water has been used it is returned to the normal water cycle creating a virtuous circle.

 

The Target Market

The target market for the Eaves Store Product is all U.K. new house builds and commercial new build premises, and general construction companies. Our success in this sector is two fold, firstly the installation of water technologies is a plus point when applying for planning permission, secondly it is a plus point for sales as it will save the purchaser some money and any ECO type facility in housing is very topical and in many cases a high priority for the buyer. In Commercial premises both the Eaves Store and the Vertical Store could be installed to be used to assist the utilities water supply for use in toilets and some commercial processes where pure water is not required.

 

A small section of the vessel is partly partitioned off to form a tank like section to hold utilities supplied water to feed into the eaves store to supply connected toilets if there is not any rain water retained, again fed into the plumbing on the demand of a user. 

        

The target market

The target market for the Vertical Store is again the house building industry and the existing housing stock of the U.K. as the Vertical store is a replacement for an existing rain water down pipe which  can range in size to suit the aesthetics of the built structure, where a larger taller unit finished to emulate lead could sit well on Heritage type buildings,  like National Trust and Crown estate type structures.

The retro fit market for this ECO type recycling technology is welcomed by the environmental conscious public.   The existing housing stock of the U.K. is massive and the government has plans to build some 100 to 300,000 new houses a year.

 

The basic smaller Vertical Store can be used as a simple wall hung water butt who’s market we understand is in excess of £2M  per annum in the UK.

 

Our patents are registered in the UK but we have applied for international patents for the USA, Canada and the EU, countries that enjoy high rain fall.   We Intend to licence our products to  existing water harvesting companies and pipe manufacturers in these jurisdictions, companies that have ready made markets that they service with water management type of products. We anticipate a licence fee of 10% per unit sold.

 

Product Competitors

Our two products do not have any competition in the water harvesting arena, that offer rain and grey water, on demand continuously, gravity fed while the vessel holds water and stops automatically when dry. These products are also discreet and hidden, in the case of the Eaves Store and aesthetically acceptable in the case of the Vertical Store.

 

There is nothing on the market that operates to serve a specific use, to supply a feed of grey water and rain water to toilets like these two products.  For the following reasons.

 

1. The Vertical Store can be easily fitted to the exteriors of residential units wherever there is a rain water down pipe,  the three meter, 30cm unit will hold 46 imp. Gallons of water (31 toilet flushes on average) most houses have a front and rear rain water down pipe. 

 

The eaves store is a bespoke vessel manufactured to the specification of the housing developers dimensions, the average Eaves Store fitted to the back and front of a property would average in length some 10 meters, this will store 2000 Litres of water in each, some 500 toilet flushes apx. and most new build houses could have two vessels installed (front and back) while being constructed.

 

2. Our products  are Not. Water tanks that sit on or under the ground to store water which is to be used in areas for farming activities or storage for use in drought areas. These vessels are perfect for their intended market, housing developments where ground space is at a premium, situations where ground space is not available, for underground tanks and piping, which is the majority of new developments.

 

3. This is where these two products fill a large market need, based on average rain falls in the uk, these two products used in tandem, ie. two vertical and two 2000 litre Eaves Stores setup to receive grey water and rain water in an average domestic house with four people, will produce enough water to more than halve the amount of drinking water used to specifically flush toilets, water plants and wash cars.

 

4. The Vertical Store is designed to sit in a ground boot frame and be fixed vertically to the structure, it receives filtered rain water at the top and stores the rain water until full, when full any excess escapes / overflows back to the drain system.

 

The great advantage of these products is that they will continue to replenish and make ready a water supply to feed directly to the toilet cisterns, as long as they have water.

 

5. Our Vertical Store client will be concerned about the sustainability of our environment and realise there could be a long term saving on water costs. People thinking of buying a simple water butt will see that the vertical store is a neater more aesthetically attractive unit, one that most concerned buys would choose.

 

 

The Pricing Strategy

 

Our pricing is based on the size and design of the Store required.

 

We would supply the specification and drawings to our UK manufacturer based on the developers need in discussion with their architect.

 

We intend to out source the manufacture of the Eaves Store basic unit to plastics

fabricators in the UK as there are many companies that are capable of doing it, but we would supply the materials to take advantage of economies of scale when purchasing the elements of manufacture.

Using multiple fabricators will allow us the option to increase or decrease production in line with our order book.

The Eaves tank can be quickly made in polypropylene or vacuum moulded plastic and

fibre Glass and delivered to site, here the developers site plumbers would fit the ball valve (supplied by us) to the mains water inlet section and the water outlet pipe to the toilet cistern network. The quickest production process is by vacuum moulding, the second process is Polypropylene, this material has been costed in Jan 21 at £1,000 for a 3 meter store. The most expensive and slowest is Fibre Glass / Resin.     

 

The Vertical Store is a replacement drain pipe designed to hold water and work as a drain pipe to evacuate excess rain water and also store water which can be drawn off by tap or pumped (12v) to the eaves store when required, on demand, to maintain water in the eaves store until both are empty of rain and grey waters.

 

The twin skinned vessel / body ranges in size from 200mm x 3 meters up to 600 mm x 6 meters. The larger vessel is for industrial processes and can hold some 580 gallons and would stand in the boot on the ground, fixed to the wall and require 12v solar or transformed pumping, but for apx. £3,000.00 fitted it would appear to be  cheap compared to the underground installations, ranging around £3,000 to £10,000+

The vertical Store will be produced using existing water pipes which are readily available, the vertical store has to be put together using either an outsourced pipe producer or bring in the materials and put together in our own premises.

 

The small basic wall hung water butt ( not pumped ) would compete favourably with the market for garden water butts and general use, here the market is some  £2M  PA. 

  

We intend to seek venture capital via the SEIS & EIS Scheme to fund the initial manufacture of the sample ranges and promotion trailer, so that a sales and marketing strategy can be started to form an order book and move to the second stage of  international licensing.

We need to purchase a freehold site around the western side of the M25 where we   can build working displays of the products in use, this would also be a company asset.

 

We have been invited by the Building Research Establishment (BRE) to place these two products at their show premises as demonstration items to interested parties in the construction industry, but this is quite expensive.

 

1. Raise funds through the SEIS program and seek venture capital to secure premises. 

 

  

2. Manufacture the complete range as working models and fit to a commercial vehicle & trailer so that the display can be demonstrated to the relevant market, which we see as all house builders and construction companies in the UK, The Crown Estate, The National Trust, Housing Associations and councils and all building materials supply companies like Travis Perkins. We will install working displays in Garden Centres that are interested in the Vertical Store.

 

3. The Eaves Store into the UK housing stock as retro fit could be a very profitable part of our business plan as it will require detailed inspection and fitting. We think this operation could be sold as a franchise to local builders throughout the UK, also the Vertical Store could also be fitted along with the eaves store to existing built structures.

 

4. As we intend to market our products via the international Patent office network, to

be first to the market in the jurisdictions mentioned above in the "Target Market", This will require  the complete range of working products given to these agents,

so that those agents can demonstrate them effectively. 

Initially we intend to use a quality video presentation that foreign sales agents can promote from.

  

5. The Eaves Store is the product that will produce the highest income as it will become a must for new housing developments because of the publics sentiment to conserve and recycle. Each product will be sold to House Builders to fit inside the roof void at the eaves of each house, the dimensions of which will be dictated  by the design of the Builders Houses.

We see this as a market of 30,000 new build houses yielding a potential income at an average of £3,000 per house of  £90M  per annum.

 

6. We intend to vigorously market the products in all media forms, all current social media platforms, you tube videos, building trades magazines and publications, Home magazine publications and Direct TV Sales Platforms we will also promote using google marketing platforms and soft promotions in news papers, gardening / farming magazines.

 

Executive Summary

 

The Aqua Store products have been developed and tested to meet the pressing need to conserve and recycle grey and rain water within built structures, to relieve demand and pressure from the expanding built environment, both commercial and residential on water companies to supply treated drinking water to flush toilets. Our two patented products meet and satisfy that need.

 

Firstly this ground breaking invention, "The eaves store" is easily fitted in the roof void at the eaves of structures, installed at the construction stage, this bespoke made vessel will sit structurally sound on the top of the external wall and collect rain water deflected by a novel gutter feature and store on average 2000 litres of water to feed by gravity, water to toilet cisterns, also receive grey water and utilities water in the Eaves Store to maintain a feed if there is not any rain water being held.

This whole operation is gravity fed a complete carbon free Eco. system which is cheap to the market in comparison to other forms of underground and cumbersome ground storage tanks.

 

The main differences between our two products and the vast array of water tanks on the market is;  They are an on demand supply which delivers  a continuous supply of water to the concealed eaves store water vessel and also continue to hold rain water, when available, in quantity.

 

They do not require extensive ground excavation and mains pumping to deliver and they do not require any ground space or look unsightly like the majority of water butts. And most importantly, in many cases, they can be aesthetically more acceptable and sympathetic to the style of the built structure with a variety of finishes.
